My XPS 13 9343 has a Intel HD Graphics 5500 adapter
The currently installed driver is
v10.18.10.4013 11/11/2014

v20.19.15.4531 (A04) January 12, 2017
So, I downloaded the new driver installation file and double-clicked it to install it.
The installation outputs the following error message and then fails.
"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.
Setup will exit."
I did capture the installation log, which I will not post here unless someone wants to see it. However, the last few lines read as follows.
Removed INF = C:\ProgramData\35100e5e-e356-4d38-8d2f-fb1390ad5669\dell\drivers\9343_Video_Driver_RTWTF_WN32_20.19.15.4531_A04\Graphics\igdlh64.inf
! Installed driver uses 4IDs and installing driver uses less. Get driver from manufacturer website.
IIF will NOT initiate reboot
Exit code = 0xA040
ResultCode = 41024
Has anyone experienced a similar problem when attempting to update their Intel HD Graphics 5500 driver?
